Who Am I?
Hello! My name is Heather Galbreath. I grew up in Columbia, MO and I chose massage therapy as my career for a few reasons. The first of all, I had always felt drawn to helping people in some way. Secondly, I had always enjoyed working with my hands. Third, and last to keep this brief, my grandmother was a massage therapist and she was my main role model growing up. The peace and general wellness that I felt in her office and that she gave to her clients is what comes to mind when I think of my goals for my own practice.
After I graduated High School, I found the Healing Arts Center in St. Louis, MO for my massage school, where I graduated in December, 2012. I moved to West Plains in 2013 to be with my family who had moved here while I was away at school.
With the help of a few gracious acquaintances here in West Plains, I was able to gain my license and establish my own practice in 2015. When the first clinic where I worked closed down in October 2015, I found started working at Physical Therapy Specialists Clinic, where I was able to continue building my business and growing my clientele. Over the holidays in 2015, a dear friend gifted me with the wonderful website you see now. In January 2018, my business began operating under its own roof and The Perfect Massage became the practice it is today.
